Traveling is fun, but when it comes to packing stuff in my bag, I’m a last minute person, so my mom would always be there to help me and make sure I’ve included everything that’s on my checklist. As time goes by, deciding which stuff should I take or not take with me becomes easier. Below is a list of my must-have’s that could serve as your reference or guide for your next travel adventure.

1. Backpack and Camera Bag

As much as possible, I try to maximize my stay in a certain country or province by not staying in one place for too long. I carefully plan my itinerary, figuring which places are nearby each other and which area should I spend the night that’s convenient for next day’s activities. Because of this, taking a big luggage with me is more of a hassle so a sturdy and big backpack is always a top choice. I bring two backpacks with me: one is for my clothes, and the other one is a camera bag. I use the Lowepro Fastpack 100  Camera Bag that can store up to 4 lenses plus accessories.

2. Sony a6000

It’s a no brainer that I have my compact mirrorless camera with me whenever I go out of the city. How else would I take pictures for my blog, right? LOL Kidding aside, I think it’s a good investment to have a decent camera when you’re traveling frequently, and would want to take photos of people, places and moments.

3. Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence

Traveling means getting exposed to harsh UV light. This product is a holy grail because it’s non-sticky, easily absorbed by my skin, and works wonders.

4. GoPro Hero + LCD

An action cam is another must-have in my list. If ever I can’t use a mirrorless camera in a certain situation, this is my go-to as it’s small, and water and dust-proof.

5. Covergirl Ready, Set, Gorgeous Foundation

I don’t have much time applying make-up on my face when traveling as I’m already awake before the sun starts to rise. A light coverage like Covergirl’s Foundation is perfect for people who are on the go like me.

6. Sandugo Ourea Trail Shoes

It’s important to have a good pair of mountain shoes with you especially when you plan to hike an intermediate or difficult trail. The Sandugo Ourea is a personal favorite. It’s comfortable to use and resistant to water. I also have a pair of their sandals, but I prefer the trail shoes better.

7. Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Skin Cream

After a long day, I pamper my skin with a moisturising cream to calm redness and dryness. This product specifically has aloe vera and winter cherry, which you can smell faintly. Its consistency is similar to lotion, so I prefer using this at night after taking a bath. It’s available in local drugstores like Watsons or Mercury Drug.

8. Apple iPad Mini

I use an iPad to transfer data such as photos from my camera, and upload it on the internet. I also store documents such as boarding pass, reservations for hotels, and itineraries. I also use Spotify here to listen to music while in a van or plane.

9. Sunnies Studios Lindsay Sunglasses

Protecting your eyes from the sunlight, and getting that summer-look– it’s like hitting two birds with one stone. Sunnies have a variety of styles to choose from, for men and women.
